Check that there is room to turn the 17-inch handlebar near the edge of the work. Gundlach specifies its 953-5 blade. A regular utility blade is not a suitable substitute for this holder.
When to choose it
Choose this cutter for rough cutting along a marked line while standing. The T-shaped handle gives you room to steer and the rear bearing supports the tool along the cut. It serves a different job from a short row-guided seam cutter.
